Artie Mae Nedbalek, 95, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Franklin. She was born on March 11, 1916 in Wheelock, Texas to Jasper C. Pruett and Jessie Liner Pruett. She married Emil Nedbalek on August 1, 1931. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Robertson County. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and had been for the past 87 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Emil Nedbalek, son, Jimmy Nedbalek, brother, Thomas Pruett, sisters, Winnie Cobb, Louise Bolton and Faye Pack.

She is survived by:

Daughter-in-law – Nelda Nedbalek of Oakwood

Sister – Joyce Scasta of Bryan

Brother – William D. Pruett of Port Vincent, Louisiana

2 Grandchildren - Vickie Stevens and husband David, Philip Nedbalek and wife, Tina

5 Great Grandchildren – Nikki Kay Nedbalek McKinney, Chad Nedbalek, Sara Stevens, Hunter Stevens and Jon David Stevens

4 Great Great Grandchildren – Tate McKinney, Coye McKinney, Aiden Nedbalek and Mason Nedbalek

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Shiloh Baptist Church. Keith Petteway, Dale Wells and Bubba Alford will officiate. Burial will follow in the Wheelock Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 6-8PM at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
