Annie Allison Clute, born March 17, 1915, passed to her heavenly reward on June 17, 2011 at 3.45pm.
She was 96 years young and died at the Elmwood Nursing Home in Marlin, TX., in the arms of her loving daughter Judith Allison and grandson Mark Einstein who live in Marlin, TX., also.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Mary Judith Allison and Gayle Allison Jenkins, and her two step-daughters Maurine Allison Chandler and Mable Allison Cash. She is survived by her grandchildren Mark Einstein, David Einstein, Donniece Kiepert, Jeaniene Winn, Jeanette Duke, Dennis Hines, Patricia Schmidt, Jack Galloway,Jr., Terrance Galloway, Bill Herbert Galloway, and numerous Great grandchildren.
She had one sister, Mary (deceased) and four brothers, Joe, Steve, Jim, and Frank (also deceased) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She lived her entire life in Marquez, TX except for the one and one half years she resided in the Marlin Nursing Home. In Marquez she became known to everyone as Miss Annie. She grew up on a farm outside Marquez where she helped her father and her brothers pick cotton, shake peanuts and helped her mother in the kitchen to cook meals and can vegetables.
She married Herbert Benjamin Allison, at age 19, in December 1934. She became a mother to two little girls Maurine and Mable, ages 11 and 3 years respectively.
She had two children of her own in 1937 and 1941, Gayle and Judith. Miss Annie's parents came from Polgar Hungary, she was bilingual and the family spoke their native language in the home.
Miss Annie will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. She was a loyal friend and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
