Alexander " Frank"  Bartkovak was born on October 8, 1931 in Houston, Texas  the eighth child of Joseph Bartkovak and NellieAngela Hopcus Bartkovak. He was born ten minutes after his twin sister, Frances.  He passed away into eternal life with his family by his side on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at his home at the age of 87 years.

Frank married his wife, Barbara on September 24, 1966 in Houston.  He was employed for many years with Southwestern Bell. After his retirement, he moved to Franklin.  Frank was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife on December 15, 1996, parents and 6 siblings.  Frank will be best be remembered by his family as a hardworking and devoted husband and loving father.  He was a simple man and enjoyed the simple things in life.

Services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 1:30 P.M.  A Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bremond, Texas.
