Albena Dorothy Neugebauer was born on March 3, 1925 in Falls City, Texas to Ignatz Keller and Regina Kotzur Keller. She went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Franklin, Texas at the age of 92 years. Albena married Bert Neugebauer on June 7, 1949 in Mission, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1971. She was a resident of Franklin for the past 35 years previously living in Mission. Albena was a member of the St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church in Franklin. She was a homemaker and loved her children and family. Albena enjoyed sewing and making beautiful quilts. She also enjoyed gardening as well. She was a good nurturing mother and took care of many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sisters, Cecelia Kotara and Loraine Keller; Brothers, Louis Keller, Stanley Keller, Urban Keller, Dominic Keller, Thomas Keller and Clifford Keller.

She is survived by:

Numerous nieces and nephews

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin. A Mass will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church. Burial will be held on Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church P.O. Box 543 Franklin, Texas or to the charity of choice.
